We have a vacancy for an SSV for the NVQ component of the Higher Apprenticeships in Engineering.

The Senior Standards Verifier will be the responsible expert in terms of the interpretation of the QCF competence-based qualifications and the standards verifier NVQ standardisation. They will monitor assessment and internal verification, and report on the achievement of national occupational standards across centres.

Applicants for this role must have significant experience in delivering and assessing higher level NVQs (4-7) and substantial recent experience of external verification of NVQs within the sector and level.

You also need a detailed knowledge of the relevant specifications, together with a clear understanding of the educational landscape and regulatory requirements for qualifications within the Qualification and Credit Framework (QCF).
