Writers for BTEC QCF Maths Level E3 Qualifications 

We are looking for innovative writers with fresh ideas that motivate learners and set them on the path to success. We are currently recruiting writers for our QCF Maths qualification at level E3. 

As a writer you would be involved in shaping and developing the content and assessment of the new qualification. You would be required to write one of the units for Maths E3, and sample assessment materials (SAMs) for that unit. The qualification consists of units covering whole numbers, fractions, decimals and percentages, common measures and handling data.

You would need to be available to start work during the second half of July.

To be eligible for this role you will:

  • Have current experience of teaching vocational qualifications
  • Have been educated to a level 4 standard with relevant qualifications
  • Have a good understanding of the differences in levels of qualification and how to communicate that in writing (an ability to write at the level of the qualification is important )
  • Have good written communication skills particularly in your sector/subject area of choice
  • Be confident using IT
  • Have the ability to pick up new skills quickly and apply them (writing of assessment criteria)
  • Have the ability to follow a brief
  • Be able to write clearly and concisely
  • Have an ability to work to tight deadlines

The fee for unit writing will be £175 per day.
