BTEC Standards Verifier (External Examiner) - Management Level 7

We have vacancies for Standards Verifiers (External Examiners) for our BTEC Level 7 in Management.

External Examiners undertake sampling of assessment and internal verification decisions for units from a range of programmes within Level 7 Strategic Management and Leadership in order to affirm that national standards have been achieved and upheld. They support centres during the sampling process and direct them in the delivery of BTEC programmes to national standards.

Applicants for this role must have: 

  • Formal qualifications at the same level or above for the subject they are assessing.

   Significant experience in delivering and assessing level 7 qualifications. 

  • Understanding of the capacity building required to transition from delivering Higher National or higher level professional qualifications to Level 7 provision.
  • Familiarity with higher level Quality Assurance models.

External Examiners carry out centre visits and the fee is £205 per centre, plus expenses.
