What this role is required to do?

• Be responsible for setting and maintaining the standards Pearson Edexcel Level 3 Certificate in Mathematics in Context.
• Prepare examination papers for Pearson Edexcel Level 3 Certificate in Mathematics in Context ensuring that all components of the examination meet the specified requirements and that the specification content is covered appropriately year on year.
• Attend question paper evaluation committee (QPEC) meetings for their own paper and the other paper.
• Lead the standardisation of examiners allocated to the Pearson Edexcel Level 3 Certificate in Mathematics in Context  paper
• Manage a team of Assistant Examiners
• Participate in the awarding of Pearson Edexcel Level 3 Certificate in Mathematics in Context
• Compile reports providing feedback on candidates' performance in each examination
• Assist/lead the delivery of centre training events

 Experience and Qualifications Required

·         You will have a relevant degree or equivalent in the subject.

·         You will ideally be a qualified teacher, with UK school-based teaching experience, in the relevant subject and qualification.

·         You will have assessment experience of leading a team of examiners, ideally in the relevant qualification.

·         You will have experience of managing people.
