Our LCCI qualification suites are centralized around work based skills, we have developed the Marketing and Business new qualifications in conjunction with professional bodies and employers, to align content with the latest industry requirements. We are recruiting for an experienced trainer to deliver engaging training to the teachers of our Marketing and Business Qualifications.

Trainers are required to deliver full day and online qualification-based courses. Trainers are required to keep up to date with changes in the education sector and the latest developments in their subject area. Trainers must deliver using materials prepared by our team of qualification-based writers. The delivery of these materials should be consistent with the quality and standards required by Pearson and the regulator.

Essential Requirements of the Role

?        Experience of teaching adult delegates ideally teachers

?        Experience of teaching students

?        Experience of Marketing and/or Business qualifications - ideally teaching teachers or teaching students

?        Ability to develop comprehensive knowledge about the LCCI Marketing and Business qualifications and assessment principles

?        Effective and engaging teaching style

?        Good attention to detail, excellent communication and leadership skills

?        Excellent organization and time management skills

?        Confident using laptops, internet and Microsoft PowerPoint and should have demonstrable experience of using technology to support training delivery 

?        Able to manage the learning and development of a range of teaching professionals who may have a range of differing viewpoints

?        Able to receive feedback both positive and negative and work on points of improvement

Desirable Experience 

?        Experience of teaching Marketing and Business Level 2 and Level 3 qualifications (or equivalent) to teachers

?        Experience of teaching Marketing and Business Level 2 and Level 3 qualifications (or equivalent) to students

?        Comprehensive knowledge of the LCCI qualifications and the assessment principles

?        Experienced in Public Relations either teaching teachers or students ideally at Level 2 & 3 (or equivalent)

?        Experience in writing engaging training content

?        Experience working for Pearson ideally delivering training

?        Experience of using Google Drive

The successfully appointed trainer will be required to undertake the following:

Pre-event preparation:

?        Undertake a briefing provided by Pearson to develop an in-depth understanding of our courses and materials

?        Practice with resources to be fully confident and competent in their use

?        Completion of Essential and Regulatory training

?        Liaise with the Training from Pearson Logistics team to arrange travel and accommodation if required

Delivery:

?        Ensure that all objectives are met within the training session

?        Present information in a way that is suited to the delegates and environment

?        Deal appropriately with all delegate queries in a professional manner

?        Deliver the agreed training session in line with guidance from the regulator and Pearson

?        Trainers will be subject to full course observations by a Pearson member of staff for quality assurance

Post-event requirements:

?        Ensure delegate attendance is logged and submitted to Training from Pearson
