Pearson is currently recruiting a Chief Examiner for LCCI Level 3 Retail Banking Operations

LCCI International Qualifications from Pearson are among the best recognised and most highly regarded business-related qualifications in the world. The qualifications include vocationally-related qualifications that cover the key areas of business, as well as language and teaching qualifications. We are looking to recruit outstanding individuals to help lead the senior examining team for this Award.  

 The Chief Examiner will be involved in a range of activities at each stage of the assessment cycle. Their responsibilities will include writing question papers and mark schemes, as well as leading the standardisation of its marking and assisting in the awarding process. 

  Responsibilities

  • To supervise the Examiner team.
  • To supervise the construction of the question papers and mark schemes to ensure appropriate standards.
  • To ensure that the question papers, as a whole, cover the assessment criteria as set out in the specification, and satisfactorily sample the appropriate content.
  • To participate in the Awarding process, ensuring that there is comparability in the standards of awards made via different options or tiers.

Experience/qualifications needed

  • You will have assessment experience up to Team Leader level in a relevant qualification
  • You will have experience of teaching the relevant subject and level
  • You will have experience of managing people.
