Experience/Qualification needed

  • You will have a degree or equivalent.
  • You will be a qualified or qualifying teacher.
  • You will have teaching or assessment experience in the relevant subject and level. 
  • You will have a high level of subject knowledge in order to apply the mark scheme.
  • You will have the ability to work well under pressure.
  • You will have the ability to meet deadlines.  

 Assessment Associate: Business

The role is to be part of a Business development team which will create unit content for the International BTEC Level 2 and Level 3 specifications. In addition to this further writing will involve the writing of the accompanying Authorised Assignment Briefs (AABs) and Pearson Set Assignments (PSA). To support the specifications there will be a need for the development and writing of Teacher Resources (Schemes of Work and Delivery Guides). There may also be the opportunity to contribute to the accompanying textbooks. The role is not full-time and there is no set salary. It is paid by contract for the particular work that needs to be completed.   The role is remote, and meetings take place online.

The role requires knowledge of the Business sectors and the ability to write educational texts. A teaching qualification is desirable as well as practical experience in either the Business sectors.
