Pearson is recruiting Principal Learning Examiners for Retail Business

An examiner marks candidate scripts. Most subjects will be marked on screen using ePEN, which can be done from home. A few subjects are still marked in the traditional method, using paper scripts sent through the post. As a teaching professional, you already possess high levels of commitment and dedication. We will complement that with comprehensive training, and support you throughout the assessment process, whether you are marking traditionally or online.
Being an examiner can inspire fresh ideas and new approaches to teaching your subject.
The marking period is between May and July. The training required to mark as an examiner will take place between May and June.
Experience needed
- You will hold a minimum of one year’s full time teaching experience of the relevant subject and level.
- You will have a degree or equivalent.
- You will be a qualified teacher.
Competencies required
- You will have the ability to work well under pressure.
- You will have the ability to meet deadlines.
