Role Summary Visiting Moderators review the centre assessment of candidate's work in accordance with the agreed assessment criteria and Edexcel's procedures. Each moderator will moderate a specified number of centre samples. Responsibilities - Attend New moderators meeting
- Attend Standardisation Meeting
- Visit a minimum of five centres to moderate examination work
Experience/Qualification needed - You will have a degree or equivalent.
- You will be a qualified or qualifying teacher.
- You will have teaching or assessment experience in the relevant subject and level.Competencies required
- You will have a high level of subject knowledge in order to apply the mark scheme.
- You will have the ability to work well under pressure.
- You will have the ability to meet deadlines.
Additional information - The moderation period is between May-July.
- With an average allocation your fee would be £700 -£1000
- A fee for attending standardisation will also be paid when you have submitted your reports to Edexcel.
