Pearson is recruiting Principal Learning Moderators for Business, Administration and Finance

Our moderators undertake a vital role in education, shaping the future of thousands of students. A moderator moderates centres assessment of candidates work in accordance with the agreed criteria. As a teaching professional, you already possess high levels of commitment and dedication. We will complement that with comprehensive training, and support you throughout the assessment process, whether you are marking traditionally or online.

Being a moderator can inspire fresh ideas and new approaches to teaching your subject.

The marking period is between May and July. The training required to mark as an examiner will take place between May and June.

Experience needed

  • You will hold a minimum of one year’s full time teaching experience of the relevant subject and level.
  • You will have a degree or equivalent.
  • You will be a qualified teacher. 

Competencies required

  • You will have the ability to work well under pressure.
  • You will have the ability to meet deadlines.
