Pearson is recruiting examiners for Functional Skills in English

An examiner marks candidate scripts. English Functional Skills will be marked on screen using ePEN, which can be done from home. As a teaching professional, you already possess high levels of commitment and dedication. We will complement that with comprehensive training, and support you throughout the assessment process.
Being an examiner can inspire fresh ideas and new approaches to teaching your subject.
The examination series take place in January, March, May-July and November.
Experience needed
- You will hold a minimum of one year’s full time teaching experience of the relevant subject and level.
- You will have a degree or equivalent.
- You will be a qualified teacher.
Competencies required
- You will have the ability to work well under pressure.
- You will have the ability to meet deadlines.
- You will be IT literate.
