Functional skills qualifications in English, ICT and Mathematics will become available to all learners from September 2010. At Edexcel, we are developing qualifications at Entry levels 1-3 and Levels 1-2, that best meet learners’ needs. To ensure that we develop the best assessment model, we are looking for outstanding individuals to be part of the Senior Assessment Associate teams for Functional Skills. We are currently recruiting for the following subjects and roles:
As a Senior Assessment Associate for Functional Skills you will undertake a range of activities for Edexcel, which could include some of the following: Writing specifications Writing question papers or contributing questions for a paper Writing controlled assessment tasks Revising assessment materials Leading a team of senior Assessment Associates by taking the role of Chair of Examiners or Chief Examiner Leading a team of examiners, moderators or external verifiers by taking the role of Principal Moderator or Principal Examiner for an examination series Writing training Materials Delivering training events for Edexcel Writing teacher support materials You will only need to make one application through the Functional Skills Senior Assessment Associate online application form.
